Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Excelacom.
Software Developer
First there was a group discussion, then an aptitude round. After that, a face-to-face technical round, and finally the HR round. They're looking for good communication skills. In the technical round, they asked about stuff on the resume and for me to write a program. The HR round was the usual questions.
- Tell me about programming.
- What do you know about OOPS?
- Do you have questions related to Java?
Technical Lead
I had 2 tech interviews, one with tech architects and one with the hiring manager. They asked me questions mostly about microservice architecture and design patterns. They focused on my design skills more than my coding skills.
- Questions about microservice architecture and design patterns.
Software Engineer
The interview process involved a technical screen focusing on Java and a coding exam. The exam specifically tested in-depth knowledge of Java OOP concepts, data structures like binary trees, and class functions.
- What made you select this company instead of other available options?
