Behavioral Technical

It was a 3-round interview process, finishing with an in-person meeting. The sessions were friendly and informative. The in-person interview was a really good experience, with practical questions, and they were good hosts. However, the feedback took way too long to arrive.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The whole thing from applying to getting the offer took about a month. First, I had a Microsoft Teams chat with HR where we talked about behavioural stuff like how I handle pressure, manage projects, and why I want to work for a contract research place. Then, I went on-site to Oxford for a technical interview with two people from the company. They asked me to give a short, unprepared 5-minute presentation on my PhD work, followed by a chemistry problem about making a compound with about 8 steps. This part focused on reaction mechanisms, byproducts, how to purify stuff, problems with making it big, and how to check if it's the right thing. After that, we did a tour of the facilities. Everyone was really nice and friendly. The whole thing lasted about an hour and a half.
