The interview process has three steps. First, you apply by attaching your CV and cover letter. After a few weeks, if your screening is successful, you'll get an invite for a virtual interview with three broad motivational questions. For me, these were 'why the EIB, why the position, tell me about yourself.' About a month later, if the second phase went well, the team you'd be working with invites you. In my case, they mostly asked about my experiences and some broad governance questions; it might be different for more technical roles.

Got an initial online test then a panel interview on Teams, followed by a chat with HR. The whole thing was pretty fast, but they can take ages to decide. The interviewers were good people, professional and friendly. Just make sure you know what the total package is and if it's a permanent contract or a fixed term one, and what that means for you.

I put in my application around November 19th. About two weeks after that, I got an invite for the first online interview. It had about three or four technical questions related to the job. A month later, I had another interview with two department heads where they asked more personal questions. They mentioned I'd hear back in two weeks, but it actually took six weeks to get a negative response. Pretty unprofessional, honestly.

The interview process was really long, about 6 months, and they barely communicated. Towards the end, I got an email with two links for interviews, a demo and the real one. The link for the actual interview was just pasted in the email body, which made me think it was a scam. When I tried to open it, it said I'd already submitted an answer, but I hadn't. I contacted tech support about the broken link, and they took about a week to reply. By then, the deadline to take the interview had passed. They couldn't fix my application and gave me another email to try. I emailed them, but heard nothing for days. Then, I got an email saying I didn't pass because 'other candidates corresponded better the requirements'. This is ridiculous since I couldn't even open the broken link. Worst interview experience ever, and I definitely don't recommend it.
