First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Euroclear.
Analyst
First up was an HR interview. Then, there was an online technical problem solving part. If you did well on that, you'd get invited to career day. On career day, you'd chat with a business manager and a technical manager. If they liked you, you'd get an offer by the end of the day.
- Tell me about a project from your Masters that you really liked working on.

I went through three interviews: one with HR, then the hiring manager, and finally the hiring manager along with a division leadership team member. The whole process dragged on for nearly two months, largely due to interviewers rescheduling at least twice, maybe three times. One time, an interview was even cancelled just 30 minutes beforehand. About two weeks post-final interview, the recruiter called to say my application wouldn't be moving forward, with no specific feedback. While the HR recruiter was professional and pleasant, the rest of it felt off and disorganized. I didn't really feel like they were serious about hiring. It's also notable that the position remained open two weeks after my rejection.
- Tell me about your previous experiences and skills.
- What drives you and what aspects of a workplace do you dislike?
Scrum Master
HR said there would be 3 interview stages. After I passed those, a hiring manager wanted a chemistry interview. On the day, 2 people showed up and it turned into another technical and behavioral interview, which also went well. I didn't hear back, so I contacted HR. They told me the 2 people from the 4th stage weren't sure about my Kanban understanding. I was frustrated, and HR was surprised too after 3 successful interviews. Euroclear's office policy wasted 3 weeks of my time.
- Why are you interested in working here and what value do you bring?
Operations Analyst
The interview process was terrible. They scheduled me for an interview over three weeks out, and the recruiter didn't seem very engaged. I was well-prepared, but she mainly asked me to introduce myself and then inquired about my work visa status. Since I needed visa sponsorship, she said she'd check with the hiring manager about whether they could accommodate a wait for my work visa. That was the extent of it. After that, I was ignored for a month until she finally responded that the manager wasn't willing to wait.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- What is your current work visa status?
