The interview process was terrible. They scheduled me for an interview over three weeks out, and the recruiter didn't seem very engaged. I was well-prepared, but she mainly asked me to introduce myself and then inquired about my work visa status. Since I needed visa sponsorship, she said she'd check with the hiring manager about whether they could accommodate a wait for my work visa. That was the extent of it. After that, I was ignored for a month until she finally responded that the manager wasn't willing to wait.

So, I recently interviewed with Euroclear in Belgium, and it was a pretty good experience overall. There were three interviews and this online personality test thing, which really covered all the bases to see if I was a good fit. First up was the recruiter, just checking if I was motivated and if my background matched what they needed. We talked about my experience, when I could start, and what salary I was looking for. They threw in a couple of curveballs though, asking about the 2008 crisis and the difference between bonds and shares – definitely unexpected but showed they were serious about assessing knowledge. Then came the online part, a Hudson personality test with four sections. It took a bit longer than I expected but was actually kinda interesting. No feedback after though, which would've been nice for figuring things out. The next interview was with HR, and that was super chill and easy. The person was really welcoming and made it easy to talk. They were keen to know why I wanted the job, my past experience, and what my motivations were. We chatted a lot about the company vibe, growth chances, training, and all that stuff related to the role. It left me feeling really good about Euroclear and how they seem to care about their people. The last interview was with the operations manager, and this one was more technical and serious. It wasn't as smooth as the HR one, but I got a much better sense of the day-to-day work and how the department operates. The manager was upfront about the training and how much commitment is needed. They asked me a scenario question about how I'd handle prioritizing tasks when I'm swamped with time – a good way to see how I solve problems and what the job might throw at me. The only hiccup was that the offer letter took a while to arrive after all that. Given how fast everything else went, the delay was a bit strange, but it didn't ruin the good impression I had. All in all, the interview process at Euroclear was thorough and organized. The people I spoke with were professional and really wanted to understand my motivations, skills, and if I'd fit in. Even with the offer delay, I'd totally recommend Euroclear based on how the interviews went.
