Behavioral Technical Case

it was a pretty standard first interview, but the questions they asked were really broad and it caught me off guard. i was asked how to balance client needs with research needs in a political risk assessment without knowing what client or any specifics. it didn't seem like they knew what they wanted.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty relaxed and felt like a conversation, which helped me talk about my background and why I want this job. The directors were really nice and interested in my writing sample and past research jobs. They asked good questions and were easy to talk to, making it seem like they really care about curiosity and working together, which is what I want in a research job. I feel even more excited about this role and what the company does after talking with them.

Got a referral first, then had an HR call about two weeks later. After that, there was an online interview with HR that took about 30 minutes. We mostly talked about my background and if I needed sponsorship, which seemed like a big issue. No follow-up after that.

I was ghosted after several interviews and received no follow-up for weeks. Based on other reviews, this seems common. The process included an HR screen, a hiring manager interview, and meetings with team members. There was also a written assignment that was discussed in a team meeting. All interviews covered my work history, professional interests, and included behavioral questions. One interview focused on my approach to the written assignment.

  • What are you passionate about professionally?
  • Could you share examples of how you've handled specific situations in the past?
