First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eurasia Group.
Intern
I interviewed with a team analyst for the first round, then I interviewed with the team director for the second round. The first round was mostly behavioral, and the second round focused on current geopolitical events and my analysis of them.
- Can you tell me what your understanding of EG is, and why you are interested in applying for this role?
- What are your thoughts on current geopolitical events and how do they relate to this role?
Intern
The interview process was pretty relaxed and felt like a conversation, which helped me talk about my background and why I want this job. The directors were really nice and interested in my writing sample and past research jobs. They asked good questions and were easy to talk to, making it seem like they really care about curiosity and working together, which is what I want in a research job. I feel even more excited about this role and what the company does after talking with them.
- What draws you to this particular role?
Intern
I got an interview invite from Eurasia's HR. They set up a Teams interview but then canceled it two days before. I asked why, and they said they were still figuring out the best time. A week later, I checked in again, but heard nothing back. I emailed again, but I was totally ghosted by the company.
