Unit Manager
The whole thing took about a month. It started with a 30-minute recruiter call. Then I had a video interview with two managers, one of whom was super late! After that, I had what I thought was the final interview with upper management, which went really well and I felt a good connection. I made sure to follow up and thank them after each step. I got good feedback throughout, but then just... silence. The recruiter kept promising an update every week, but nothing ever came. Not even a quick email saying they went with someone else. None of the interviews were in person; they were all phone or video, even the one with the local manager. I never got to see the office or get a feel for the place. I thought that was pretty bad, especially since I would have wanted to see it before accepting any offer. It's not so much that I didn't get the job, but more the lack of basic courtesy after investing over 4 hours. Makes you wonder about how they treat their actual employees.

Business Intelligence Engineer
The interview process started with a technical recruiter call. Next, there was an online SQL screen with a teammate who happened to leave the company the following week. The final round was an onsite interview with four people: a Senior Manager (who also resigned the next week), a Manager, and two teammates. They gave feedback after a month saying I was the second best candidate and they moved on with someone else. It's been over two months and the position is still vacant, which felt like a waste of time. I've heard many employees are leaving the company, possibly due to politics or business performance.

Manager
The hiring process was lengthy, spanning 2-3 weeks between interactions. It began with an online application, followed by a video screening with a recruiter, then a video interview with a VP, and finally a video interview with a manager and peers. Technical issues, including audio problems and an interviewer no-show, caused delays. Interviewers' inability to conduct video calls while traveling for work extended the timeline further, as they had to wait until they were back in the office. The candidate questioned the lack of traditional phone call options. The process concluded with a phone call from HR informing the candidate they were not selected, which was appreciated as a professional touch compared to a generic email. The candidate suggested improving the hiring speed to avoid losing qualified applicants.

Claims Adjuster
I applied for the Claims Adjuster position at Esurance through attending their job fair. The interviews there were quick, which made sense given the high volume of applicants. It was my first job fair, and Esurance's was well-organized with minimal waiting times. The staff I interacted with were all very friendly. Following the job fair, I had an in-person interview with two managers. Then, I did a 30-minute job shadow to understand the role better and completed some aptitude tests. After these interviews, I received a phone offer shortly thereafter. Overall, it was a really positive hiring experience, and I'm very happy with how Esurance treats its employees.
- Can you describe an instance where you successfully handled a challenging customer situation?
