I had a recruiter phone screen, which was pretty standard. After not hearing back for 3 weeks, they scheduled a second round. The second screen had some tech issues with Teams, where I had to switch to the browser. The interviewer couldn't see me but could hear me fine. I felt like I did very well, answering all questions thoroughly, and explaining my experience on smaller, more generalist teams compared to the larger specialist team for this role. The interview ran a bit long and ended abruptly. I was rejected a couple of days later and asked for feedback, which was ignored. I liked the interviewers and the company seems competent, but more process transparency would be good, especially given how long companies are taking to hire in this market.

So I went through 4 interviews for this job. It started with a phone screen with HR, then I talked to the team lead, then HR again, and finally a panel interview with several team leaders. They told me after the last interview that I would get an offer letter the following week. But then, a whole month passed with no word from them and they totally ignored my emails. Then, on the Friday right before training was supposed to start, they sent me an email saying I didn't get the job. Super unprofessional.

The interview process starts with your Application Submission, then an Initial HR Screening which is a preliminary phone interview to talk about your background and interest. After that, there's a Technical Assessment, followed by Technical Interviews where they'll check your coding, algorithms, and problem-solving skills. Next, you'll have a Behavioral Interview, then a Managerial Round, and finally, a Final Interview.

So, first there was this quick video chat with the recruiter. Then I had a 45-minute interview with the hiring manager. After that, it was an hour-long onsite interview. The whole thing felt pretty standard. Mostly behavioral questions. During the onsite, everyone on the team I would be working with rotated through talking to me. Some folks were cool, but others seemed totally checked out and not interested. The worst part about this company is they never follow up or give any feedback. This is the second time I've interviewed with them and gotten ghosted. I had to email the manager directly for an update, and that was way after they'd already hired someone. The recruiter and hiring manager never replied to my emails, even though they said they would. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend doing the onsite unless you live super close to Berwyn, PA, because it's just not worth the trip otherwise.
