First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Envestnet.
Product Engineer
The interview process was okay. They mentioned needing 'executive-grade communication' and a 'consultative approach', which makes me think they deal with big companies, not small ones. It's a Full-Stack Platform role, so you need to know a lot about different financial services.
- Is this a good, passable type of interview process?
Engineer
I applied through campus recruitment. The interview process spanned two days. Day one began with an aptitude test, after which less than half of the applicants were selected. This was followed by a tech/domain test. We also had to attend a presentation, seemingly to assess our listening skills. This presentation involved 30 minutes on a tech topic and another 30 minutes on their specific domain. Post-presentation, there was a 15-minute test with 15 questions each from the tech topic and their domain. This round was a major elimination, with only 12 out of 46 candidates advancing. Day two included a group activity (role play), which was part of the interview and not an elimination round. Finally, there was a panel interview with three interviewers, lasting about an hour. This interview covered technical questions, details from my resume, current trends in the field, and HR-related topics. In the end, 8 candidates were selected and received immediate offer letters.
- Can you explain the differences between Java and C?
- What are the current trends in machine learning?
Performance Engineer
the interview process is good but when the higher management is going to take your interview they will ask you question completely unrelated and doesn't carry any sens and they will reject a candidate. i personally feel they take preferred candidate not the deserved candidate
- The first two sets of interviews will be conducted by a technical panel, which you can clear if you have real-time experience. The questions will be from real-time issues and their solutions.
