Software Developer
The interviewers were very skilled and paid close attention to detail. I enjoyed the technical and cultural fit questions. The challenges and questionnaires were fair and appropriate for the position. I felt confident and had the freedom to express myself and share my journey; we had a really nice conversation.
- Can you describe how you would handle the algorithms in question?
- What challenges have you encountered in previous roles?
Junior Software Developer
The feedback for the technical test was quite delayed and it was harder to get technical questions answered. Also, the feedback was generic, without any specific suggestions. But still, everything was well organized and explained, there was also a synchronous moment to better explain the technical test.
- Technical questions were asked
- A case study was provided
Business Analyst
The interview had 3 in-person stages all on the same day. First was a group dynamic activity, lasting 40 minutes, focused on the same case I prepared at home. Most people passed this stage to the next. Then, a case presentation: over an hour long, presenting to two Managers, and developing one together. I found them attentive and collaborative, but also demanding; it wasn't an easy case, and this stage cut the most candidates. Finally, a Fit Cultural interview with the partners. I thought it was a very light interview, and they seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. The result came out the same day, and I was working a week later.
- Can you describe a situation where you collaborated within a team?
- What led you to choose a career in consulting and specifically Elogroup?
Intern
The whole process took about a month and a half and was conducted on the Gupy online platform. It started with a questionnaire and a logic test. I really recommend preparing well for this part because it tends to filter out about 90% of candidates. After that, there was a technical exam with 6 questions related to the technologies mentioned in the job posting. It's also a good idea to study for this test, as the questions are considered medium-to-hard. Finally, there was an interview where I had to present my logic for solving the test. This interview was with a panel consisting of the manager and two other professionals from the area. Initially, they asked me several questions about myself and my past experiences, and then they asked me to present my solutions. They were very nice and made me feel really comfortable. They deserve praise.
- Tell me about a challenge you faced, how you dealt with it, and what you learned from it.
