It took a lot of effort to get an interview, but I managed. The interview process had two rounds: a phone screen, followed by meetings with a partner and a manager. It seems like the major parts of the hiring process haven't kicked in yet.

I applied online and had a quick phone chat with a recruiter which went fine. Next, I took a personality test, met the hiring manager, and completed a fairly thorough writing assignment. I put a lot of effort into the assignment to make sure it showed my skills. I was feeling good when the recruiter said I was moving on to the next steps and a final interview, but then I got an email saying I didn't get the job. I tried to get feedback on my writing assignment but got no response.

Behavioral Other

The interview process kicked off with a recruiter phone screen, which seemed more like an informational chat to gauge resume fit before passing it to the hiring manager. Next, I had a nice and engaging interview with a Senior. About a week later, I was invited for a third interview, which was a panel with two colleagues and a director who mostly observed. The questions focused on culture fit, though the vibe wasn't super friendly, except for one person. One interviewer asked why I wanted to work for Eide Bailly, mentioning the remote aspect, which I hadn't brought up. After more than three weeks, I got a polite rejection email. The recruiter mentioned they had almost two dozen people in the final round and selected two candidates, so I learned there were two openings. Despite the drawn-out process, it wasn't a terrible experience overall.

Behavioral Presentation

I went through three interviews. The first was a phone call with the recruiter, then I met the hiring manager in person for the second, and the third was with two managers over teams. Everyone was really nice and made the whole thing feel pretty relaxed. They weren't asking tough stuff, mostly just wanted to get a feel for my personality. Sadly, I didn't get an offer, and the part I didn't like was waiting over two weeks to be told no. I kept checking in with the recruiter, just to finally get that rejection.
