First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at E2open.
QA Engineer
It was a smooth process, the questions were easy to understand. The interviewer explained the company's testing methods clearly. I shared my past experience and work methods.
- Can you describe your testing skills?
- What is your experience with SQL?
- Tell me about your previous work experience.
Research Engineer
Applied online and got a call back for an interview after about a week. The person I spoke with was nice. We talked about Machine Learning basics. They also asked about Mathematical optimisation, like the difference between LP, MILP, and ILP, and also basic ML concepts like linear regression, neural networks, and activation functions. We also touched upon the Traveling Salesperson Problem (TSP). Discussion of my past projects was also part of it.
- Could you explain the distinction between classification and regression tasks?
Service Engineer
I went through the interview process and answered all questions, but unfortunately, I was rejected. The interview covered topics like core Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, coding problems, and also touched on databases and memory management. They also asked about Java Streams, string manipulation, the collection framework, and Java 8 features.
- Tell me about Java Streams and string manipulation.
- Can you explain core Java concepts related to streams and string manipulation?
Systems Engineer
There are two roles for associate system administrator in e2 open: 1) Java developer role and 2) IT operation role. I attended an on-campus drive. First, there was an exam on Java, JavaScript, RDBMS, Linux, and 2 coding questions (multiple choice questions). The interview was very good. The next round was a completely technical interview based on Linux, SQL, and projects. Finally, an HR round where questions were asked completely from the resume and common HR round interview questions. The company is very good for a fresher.
- Can you tell me about your projects, especially Java, DBMS, and cloud-based ones?
- How proficient are you in Linux and SQL?
- Were there questions about Java, JavaScript, RDBMS, and Linux?
