I was contacted via LinkedIn for the selection process. It started with a technical case, in my case, a simple mobile app. They let me choose the technology for the project, and if I passed, I'd be placed in a team using those technologies. I built it with React Native and Supabase. It was straightforward, and I passed to the next stage, which was an all-in-one interview with HR and a technical assessment. After a LOT of waiting (almost 2 months), they finally scheduled the interview. It began with HR, which was standard. The technical part, however, was disappointing. The two technical interviewers seemed disengaged and unpleasant. They asked irrelevant and out-of-scope questions for an intern role. I had made it clear I wanted to focus on React Native, but one interviewer insisted on asking about Kotlin. It was a rollercoaster, with some easy questions like explaining SOLID, then suddenly difficult, out-of-scope questions for an intern (confirmed by people in the field). They also asked about code I wrote 2 months prior, which is unreasonable without having the code to review. I think this part could be better if they shared the code during the interview for discussion instead of expecting perfect recall. Unexpectedly, the technical interviewer switched to English and asked some repeated questions, which was manageable if you're comfortable with the language. Finally, there was a very easy live coding session. Overall, the HR part (outsourced) was fine, but the technical interviewers need to improve their attitude and make the candidate comfortable, as this impression matters for someone who will be working with them daily. Interviews can be tough, but remember the candidate will be your future colleague.

I had a take-home test where I had to create a sales web application using .net and react. It required communication between the front-end and back-end via API, and there were other criteria that would increase my score.

The hiring process was lengthy. The interviewer was unresponsive for 15 days, then returned saying they went on vacation. There was no one to continue the selection process, nor was any explanation provided. The overall selection process wasn't clearly explained; simple things just happened without any clarity on the stage or status. Additionally, it seemed like my resume, sent twice (attached and on the Gupy platform), was not considered or even read. I found the take-home test very complex for an internship position, especially for individuals who don't have full control of tools yet and are seeking internships precisely to learn and improve their skills. This needs improvement!!!

First, I took a programming techniques test. There were standard questions, like programming a matrix multiplication function, and re-implementing a function without using recursion. On the same day, they asked me to write an essay on any topic that interested me. After that, I had an interview with HR, where they asked things like 'what is your greatest strength, and what is your greatest weakness?'. Finally, I had an interview with the project manager and the technical lead, where they asked about what technologies I had worked with, what I would do if I didn't have to worry about money, etc.
