So there were three interviews. The first one was with the group lead. The second one was with the group lead and the department lead. The third interview was with the group lead, the department lead, and the institute lead. The first two interviews were mostly about my knowledge and ambition, but the last one involved me giving a presentation about my previous work.

There were two interviews, both online. The first one involved an introduction of the working group and attendees, followed by the applicant's introduction. Questions focused on the motivation for working at DLR, specifically why this administrative role given the applicant's research-heavy background right after university. Standard questions about future career plans and proudest achievements were asked. There were also technical questions related to the group's focus area, even though deep expertise wasn't required for the job as per the description. A significant portion focused on how the applicant envisions their daily work, essentially covering questions the applicant intended to ask. The second interview involved describing situations and then explaining how the applicant would react.

Everyone was super nice to me. Ms. Splett-Rudolph and Eva Siegert were very pleasant conversationalists and created an open, relaxed, and empathetic atmosphere. The conversation was at eye level, appreciative, and professional. This allowed me to formulate my questions and answers calmly. Both took the time to truly understand my experiences and expectations. Overall, it was a very positive and pleasant job interview that gave me an authentic insight into the daily work of the DLR project management.

The interview was consistently pleasant. The department head and an HR representative took turns asking me questions. The department head focused more on technical aspects, particularly my experiences from university and projects. The HR representative concentrated on more general questions, such as: "Are you willing to relocate (my place of residence was different)? How do you rate your English skills?". We also discussed many potential initial areas of responsibility, and my questions were answered thoroughly. All-in-all, a great atmosphere!
