The interview process was really structured and professional. The questions asked were consistently relevant and focused, which really let me show off my skills. I especially liked the friendly vibe, making the interview comfortable and less stressful. It was also great that there was plenty of time for my own questions and discussions, leading to an open and constructive dialogue. Overall, a really positive experience.

In the interview, the current project leader (also a research assistant), the group leader, and the department head were present. First, everyone introduced themselves briefly, then there were questions from the DLR, and then the project was discussed in more detail. Generally, the atmosphere was good, even though they put you on the spot. It's a lot about personal interests to see if you really fit into the group.

The interview was conducted via Zoom and was generally okay. What was particularly good was that the conversation was very individually tailored to the advertised position. I had to give a short presentation, which could be well prepared and concerned relevant content. The interviewers were friendly and asked targeted questions that addressed my qualifications and the requirements of the position. The atmosphere was professional, but a bit cool. Overall, a structured and fair interview with a clear focus on suitability for the specific position.
