The interview process involved a 1st round with a basic JS question covering API creation, bind, call, apply functions, and higher-order functions implementation. The Second Round included basic system design questions and managerial level questions about handling team conflicts.

It's a simple interview focusing on cognitive and linguistic skills. There are about 2 timed assessments before and after the interview. Be careful if an offer comes from Mexico, as the company doesn't have a fiscal presence there. You'd be contracted via Aeries Technology (an Indian Consulting firm), with a contract made on-site, and they'd authorize remote work. This is a major issue for a fully remote position they advertised. They can change the remote condition and ask you to come onsite to their Guadalajara office. Also, Aeries wants to mandate a 6% savings fund from your salary. Aeries is not good for their Mexico presence. I don't recommend joining until they establish in Mexico or change their contractor.

It was a really disappointing experience. There were 3 rounds spread over about 9 or 10 weeks. The first round was an HR screening, followed by a second round with the direct manager. The final round was with senior management. Only the final round with senior management was difficult, and that was just because the questions were phrased terribly, like the interviewer wasn't sure what they wanted to ask. The whole experience with the HR representative was incredibly unprofessional, with terrible communication, interview coordination, and ghosting throughout the process. The interviewer cancelled one hour before the final round and didn't reschedule for almost two weeks, even after I had to ask multiple times. They didn't even apologize for the delay. I was offered feedback after being rejected, but when I asked for it, I was ghosted. I followed up again and was ghosted a second time. It was really disappointing because I was looking forward to working here, but my opinion of the company has now unfortunately completely changed.

The interview process seemed pretty standard at first, with emails giving hints on what to prep. But honestly, 3 out of the 4 interviews didn't follow the plan, which was a bummer since I prepped for the wrong things and then got rejected. The whole thing felt disorganized; there was one time I had to chase the organizer 5 minutes before a call to see if it was even happening, as I didn't get a formal invite for a scheduled time. Another time, I got an invite for a round I'd already done, and I had to tell the recruiter what my next step should be. Regarding topics: the pre-screening call was standard. The first 'Product Sense' interview was actually a Metrics interview (I guess I got the wrong prep email). The second 'Product Sense' interview was legit, but the invite came 5 minutes before the call, after I reminded the recruiter. The 'Execution Interview' felt like another Metrics interview. The 'Leadership + Cross Functional collaboration' round, which was the last one, felt more like a Product Sense interview. Despite the mess, the interviewers themselves were good and knew their stuff. The questions were relevant and tasks interesting, which made up for the process issues a bit. I would have liked to join, but the experience was ultimately frustrating.
