First, I had a 30-minute phone chat with the Hiring manager. She asked some pretty basic stuff like why DHG, to introduce myself, about my CPA status, why I want to leave my current company, who referred me, and why I'm interested in audit.

I interviewed with two people from the company. First, I spoke with the head of marketing for about 10 minutes, who asked me behavioral questions and about my hobbies. Then, I met with a partner to discuss my career goals, my undergrad activities, and if I had any questions about the firm.

I applied on campus and had an interview with a partner. It was conversational. The next day, I got invited for an office visit. The night before, associates took me and other candidates to dinner to answer questions about the job and company culture. On the visit day, I interviewed with 3 people (a partner and 2 managers). It was conversational and they wanted to know if I fit the culture. I advise everyone to just be themselves. After the interview, associates took us to lunch. 5 days later I got an offer. It was a great experience and everyone was welcoming and helpful.

The interview process started with a phone chat with the recruiter, followed by an onsite interview with the hiring manager, and then another onsite with the team members. The team was super nice and kept me engaged. The only bummer was the parking validation – they didn't do it, so I had to pay $15 out of pocket for parking for an interview. I asked the recruiter about getting reimbursed, but they ghosted me, which was a bit of a letdown in terms of candidate experience. But besides that, the whole thing was pretty simple and moved fast.
