First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Designity.
Project Manager
The whole process had FIVE steps: first, I filled out an application. Then, I had to answer some interview questions by recording myself. After that, there was a two-hour paid task, which was pretty good, actually. It was relevant and paid $40, which was a nice touch. Then, I had a peer interview with standard questions, and finally, I interviewed with the CEO, who just read from a list and didn't give much feedback. The HR person was nice and responsive. But man, it felt like it took forever and some parts were repeated, like they asked me the same stuff again. They could have combined some steps to save time. The task was fine, but the rest felt a bit much. They didn't tell me much about the job upfront, I had to ask. It seems like a good company with a good remote setup, but I didn't like the always-on camera policy or having to overlap 6 hours with US time. That, plus another offer, made me leave the process after the last interview.
- Can you share how you utilize AI in your work?
- Describe your experience and feelings about managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Tell me about your remote work setup.
Digital Marketing Expert
The interview process took about 4 months from application to offer, which is quite lengthy. It's thorough and dynamic. Early interviews involved recording yourself answering questions autonomously, which felt different and more effective than a standard form or talking to someone unfamiliar with digital marketing. I also participated in a paid workshop where I had to solve a digital marketing case study under a time limit. It was challenging due to the time constraint, and it clearly tested my ability to synthesize information, think fast, and be strategic. Overall, I found it an entertaining and unique process.
- Can you describe how you structure your tasks, manage your weekly schedule, and plan your day-to-day activities?
- In what ways do you integrate Artificial Intelligence into your daily work?
Head of People
I saw the job opening on LinkedIn and applied. I was really impressed with how they handled applications - no CV needed, and it was super efficient. I did a video interview with some questions, then moved on to a paid async assessment that was really insightful. It really made me think about how I'd plan to scale the company. Their Head of Talent Acquisition kept me updated, but unfortunately, they reached out for what I think was the final interview with leadership right after I had already accepted another offer. I'm still rooting for them and will definitely keep an eye on their growth.
- How would you set yourself up to succeed in a remote environment?
- How would you plan to scale the company from different HR aspects?
Creative Director
Designity doesn't take resumes, so don't waste time tailoring yours. When applying, I was asked some questions and given links to my recent work. After my profile was chosen, instead of a screening call, I got a prompt to answer some questions on video. The next step was an invitation to a workshop with other candidates. It's a timed challenge where I got digital materials similar to what a client might give before a project starts. I had to pay close attention to the client's video, complete a request form, build a project timeline in Google Sheets, develop three project concepts, and film a video with creative instructions. It was harder than it sounds because of the time limit. Also, be aware that the Miro board uses a lot of memory, potentially slowing down your browser. Overall, it was a good experience. They even offer a small payment for the workshop to acknowledge your time and effort.
- Regarding your workspace and remote work capabilities, can you elaborate?
- Could you share some of your favorite projects?
- What significant challenges have you overcome?
