Controls Engineer
The interview process had two stages. First, a career fair chat about your availability and role fit. Second, an in-person interview covering BW's business and a deep dive into your qualifications and responsibilities.
- Can you share something not listed on your resume?
- What is your understanding of what BW does?
- Could you elaborate on your qualifications?
Mechanical Engineer Intern
The interview process was put together well. I talked to 4 people with different roles and levels of experience. Each interviewer had their own way of doing things. Some were more into my personality, and others asked technical stuff.
- How would you approach breaking down a complex, large-scale project to make it manageable for yourself?
Software Engineer
The initial chat and first interview went smoothly. However, during the second interview, I got a bad vibe from the person who would be my manager, mostly due to their body language rather than words, and as a woman, it made me uncomfortable. I mentioned this to the hiring manager, who was respectful. I'm unsure of the outcome, but the work itself seemed fine; it was just the boss-to-be's demeanor that was off-putting. This was an issue with just one person, not the company overall. I decided to stop pursuing the interview process. This hasn't happened in any other interviews I've had.
- What motivates you to want to join our company?
- Can you tell me more about a specific project you completed in your last role?
Engineering Intern
Met at a career fair and initially discussed an intern position. However, only a Co-op position was open for interviews. The interview was quite straightforward, involving behavioral questions about my experience. I then had interviews with two more people from different employer groups.
- Do you have any experience with PLCs?
