Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Design Group (MO).
Process Engineer
First, I had a phone interview with a recruiter, and then I had interviews with different people from the company. It was pretty standard, no technical stuff. Everyone was nice and helpful, which totally matched what the company stands for.
- What made you come to the design group?
Process Controls Engineer
Had a bunch of interviews with different people on the team. Started with the usual HR call, then a lot of interviews with pretty much everyone in the local office, and we even got a tour of a client's factory. It was kinda long and dragged out, and felt more about getting to know me than testing my technical skills.
- Can you walk me through the concepts for a simple hypothetical project?
- How would you approach the project execution for a simple hypothetical project?
Process Controls Engineer
I found the job on CareerBuilder and reached out via email. The recruiter responded the next day and we had a phone interview right away. About a week later, they invited me for an in-person interview at Tahoe Joe's, followed by a more formal interview at their office.
- Can you describe your experience?
