The hiring journey was simple and efficient, with no extra loops. It started with a recruiter call, then a virtual meeting with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person meeting with all the managers, and finally, a virtual session with the CRO.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process involved 3 interviews and a sales pitch presentation to a C-level executive and the team. It's an easy role; they primarily focus on your presence and your ability to socialize and network with clients. You need to be out daily meeting clients to maintain relationships so they remember you when a deal arises and they need a quote for a dataroom. If you show you enjoy this and look presentable, you'll get the job.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

So, they really ghosted me after 4 rounds in one week, which included some external interviews. I heard nothing for months, and neither did my external recruiter. I figured I was ghosted, which is pretty typical but still rude. But then, months later, the recruiter called, apologized, and said they wanted me to do a fifth round. They said we'd discuss details. That was a month ago. While it's possible the external recruiter messed up, the whole thing feels disrespectful. It's ironic because in the interviews, they really emphasized how important a fast contract turnaround is for the role. The job sounded interesting, but the whole experience has been extremely disappointing.

I applied for the Training Specialist, Sr. role. The first round was with the hiring manager, and it went well, but then she went on vacation for over a week, delaying feedback to the recruiter. This meant I waited almost two weeks to find out if I advanced. The recruiter seemed annoyed, which made me question the company culture. The second and final round was with 3 people from the team. One person appeared very uninterested, even laughing when I asked a question about the company. This individual then asked me questions that seemed to undermine my answers and made inaccurate assumptions about my experience. I felt defensive but tried to remain professional. Even though I attempted to address his challenges, I knew I likely wouldn't get an offer, especially given his attitude. Waiting 4 weeks for a decision after the final round, I noticed the job was reposted. My experience suggests not to expect a professional process. Additionally, the position is advertised as in-office, yet the hiring manager spends half the year in Florida, and the rest of the interviewers were remote.

Could you please follow up after interviews? It's hard, degrading, and unprofessional to say 'we'll let you know' and then not hear anything for weeks. I've asked about the status multiple times and been ignored. I know you're busy, but a quick email would be great.
