I was invited to interview after attending a job fair. The interview mainly consisted of STAR method questions and some discussion about my coursework. The recruiter who interviewed me was really friendly, and the questions asked were pretty much what I expected.

I had two rounds of group interviews, one with my direct manager and another with the department head. The interviewers shared examples from their daily work and were good listeners. The office is nice and pretty, and they seem like a fair employer with a hybrid work model.

The interview process involves a panel interview with different individuals, including HR team members and engineers. Each person asks about various aspects of the role and your qualifications. While the format is structured, the overall atmosphere tends to be fairly casual, allowing for a conversational flow.

Behavioral

The interview experience was awful. The questions and dialogue felt condescending, typical of technical roles, with the interviewer seeming more interested in speaking down than listening. If you want to work for an ego-driven company with no engagement or people skills, this is it. If you prefer an environment with arrogance at its forefront, go for it. If you like keeping to yourself and being treated as replaceable and stupid daily, this is the place. Despite my high SAT score and IQ, the interviewer implied low intelligence because I am a woman who wants to recruit because I love it.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe your approach to sourcing candidates for diversity?
