First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Covestro.
Senior Manager
So, I had a phone interview with the HR lead back in January, which went pretty well. The same day, they actually called me to set up an in-person interview. For that, they wanted me to get a 10-minute PowerPoint presentation ready about my background and a fake business problem. I really worked hard on researching and putting together what I felt was a strong presentation. The panel interview itself seemed to go okay, or at least I thought so. But then... radio silence. After about two weeks, I reached out to HR for an update, but still no reply. Then, early last week, which is four weeks after the interview, I saw that they had reposted the job. It's been five weeks now, and honestly, is it too much to expect a bit of respect and communication? Is this just how Covestro operates?
- Describe a time you had to work with someone you didn't get along with. How did you handle it?
Manager
So after talking to the recruiter, the company HR called me for an initial discussion about the job and if I was a good fit. Then there were two online psychometric tests. After that, it was a full day of interviews which included a personal presentation, a case study presentation, and then a personal interview with a panel of 4 people.
- What were your detailed thoughts on the case study involved in the process?
Manager
