I had a phone call interview with one of the founders. They were very polite and respectful. The call lasted about 40 minutes and they asked both technical and logical questions. They seemed a bit rushed though. They had two openings and asked which one I was interested in. I said I was open to both, but they decided to only interview me for one role.

There were two interview rounds. The first was a phone call where they asked some basic questions about numerical analysis and CFD. The second round was on-site. It started with a 30-minute technical presentation on my research topic. After that, managers and several team leads came in one by one to ask questions. Finally, there were a few simple behavior questions.

It started with a phone call where they hit me with CFD insight questions, which was unexpected as I thought it would be more about my CV. After clearing that, I was invited to the office for several interviews. This included giving a presentation to the office team, connecting to the US office via Skype for some tough grilling questions, and then taking questions from the office employees. The last stage involved a CFD problem they're facing with clients, and they asked about salary expectations and my long-term commitment to the company.

The interview process was quick and easy. I applied and heard back about an interview in under a week. I met with the hiring team and showed them my portfolio. Then, I had a meeting with one of the founders. The whole thing took about 2.5 hours. The founder didn't ask much about design work, but instead gave me a probability brain teaser. They helped me with hints until I figured it out. It was a pretty weird question for a design role, kind of reminded me of elementary school math.
