It was a straightforward chat, asking why I wanted this specific job and why Commezbank. They also asked me to introduce myself. The team seemed really nice and approachable. The process had 3 rounds: the first was a fit interview, the second combined fit with technical questions, and the third was another fit interview. Knowing foreign languages is a big plus here. I didn't get the job after the third round, and unfortunately, I didn't receive the promised detailed feedback.

The process was unique. The first step was a video chat with the Hiring Manager. The next stage felt like a super-day, which was on-site and included three interviews back-to-back. First, there were two 15-minute interviews with team members, and then a 30-minute interview with two HR representatives. All the discussions were relaxed and focused on behavioral and fit questions.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The team members asked some general questions about my overall experience.
  • The HR folks asked a wide range of situational questions.

The reason for the unfortunate rejection of the interview was solely the incomplete documentation of my professional career. My submitted CV only covered the last fifteen years, even though the potential employer subsequently requested all professional positions since graduating from school, including all completed internships and part-time jobs.

  • Please provide a complete CV starting from school graduation until today with exact time frames in MMJJJJ format (start and end date), detailing when you completed which internships and part-time jobs, and explaining periods when you were not employed.

The whole process took like 5 months, with big gaps between interviews. I went through 5 rounds, plus an extra chat with HR. I thought the last interview went well and I'd get an offer, but after 7 days they said they needed someone with double the experience and wouldn't be filling that specific role anymore. It seems like there's a lot of bureaucracy involved, and they should've realized they weren't hiring for this position earlier in the 5-month period. I liked talking to everyone though, it felt like a good fit, but the decision wasn't theirs, it was from corporate HQ in Germany.

  • How would you handle specific situations, such as a potential DDOS attack or instances of password sharing?
