The process is really time-consuming, especially in the current market. it took 3 months from HR phone screening to the final interview and two weeks to get a response after several follow up. The interview was simple but included: phone screening, a hiring manager phone call, Python live coding, a presentation, HR soft skill interview. A long process which I don't feel all were necessary. I had a great presentation and answered all questions but the interview with the hiring manager gave me the feeling that they already decided on their person and I read from the lack of attention she/he had during the interview.

This was probably one of the most misleading interview processes I've experienced. After my final interviews, the recruiter told me I was the top candidate and they were ready to offer me the job. But then, out of the blue, a VP wanted to have a 'chat.' That felt like a red flag. After that call, they took back the offer, saying she thought I didn't have 'enough cloud experience.' I was upfront about not having cloud experience with the recruiter and hiring manager from the start, and they both assured me it wasn't a problem and they were more interested in my sales experience. The hiring manager apparently wanted to hire me, but the VP overruled him and said no. It's weird that someone not involved in sales would have such a strong opinion. Looking at other reviews, I can see upper management at this company really is bad. The whole process took about 2-3 months: Recruiter call -> Hiring Manager call -> Technical interview -> Virtual on-site -> Unexpected VP call.

The interview process included a Hiring Manager Call, a Panel interview, and a final Coding round. The entire process felt like a sham and a waste of my time. After the panel interview, they decided to add an extra coding round, which didn't make sense since all other interviews were completed. I spent 4-5 hours on this company, only to be told they didn't actually need the role. I highly recommend reading reviews before interviewing here, as it's a complete waste of time. The recruiter was also unresponsive, requiring constant follow-up. I got the impression this company doesn't care about much.

I applied online for the Geospatial Data Scientist role and heard back from a recruiter within 2 hours after submitting a detailed cover letter. The whole process took about 2 months, with roughly a week between each stage. First, there was a 30-minute recruiter screen where they went over my resume and the job details. Then, a 30-minute call with the hiring manager, focusing on my resume and some behavioral questions. The next step was a 60-minute technical screen with the Science team. It started with 30 minutes using pandas to describe data and general data questions, followed by using geopandas for geospatial data manipulation and plotting. The onsite interviews included three parts: a 75-minute quantitative reasoning session on machine learning and modeling (reasoning only, no coding), a 60-minute onsite with a 30-minute project presentation and 30 minutes of Q&A, and finally a 30-minute meeting with another hiring manager for behavioral and cultural fit questions. The recruiters were really communicative and helpful, and the interviewers were smart and made me feel comfortable.
