Behavioral Case Presentation

First, they looked at my resume. Then, I had an interview with the HR manager. After that, I interviewed with my future manager, who is a Client Director. Finally, I had to prepare and present a client case study to a Client Director and the Publisher Director. I had a week to get ready for this presentation.

The recruiter was really nice at first, but then the interview started and it became a bad experience. The recruiter did a good job preparing me and calling me, but after I met the team, it was like they disappeared. After waiting like a week after meeting the team, the recruiter told me they went with another candidate but wanted to keep me in mind for another job and said they'd call me, but that call never happened. I don't get why they couldn't just say I wasn't a good fit. The whole thing felt like a red flag because the recruiter was so involved and then just went silent. It's probably for the best I didn't get the job.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The interview process was really fast and straightforward. First, I had a recruiter call with CJ to check if my skills and what I was looking for matched the role. Then, I went in person for an interview with the hiring manager and the director of operations, and they also gave me a basic coding test on SQL and JavaScript. Finally, I had another in-person interview with the VP and the Managing Director. They made their decisions fast and let me know clearly.

Behavioral Technical

The interview experience wasn't great. They asked me the same questions multiple times, almost like they were trying to get me to say something specific. You really need to over-explain yourself. If they don't like an answer, they should just move on to the next question instead of wasting time. It's okay if it's not a fit. They asked about salary expectations, and when I asked for the range for the position, they gave me one that was much higher than my research indicated. I suspect it was a lie to weed me out based on my expectations. I was told to email to schedule another interview, which I did, but I never heard back.
