First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cherry Bekaert.
Tax Staff
The interview process consisted of two 30-minute back-to-back interviews with a senior tax associate and then a tax manager. They asked behavioral questions as well as what I like to do outside of work. They got back to me two weeks later with a final decision.
- Why are you interested in tax?
Auditor
The interview process involved a single interview block, featuring two consecutive 30-minute interviews with Cherry Bekaert employees. They were really friendly and made me feel comfortable, allowing me to express myself well. They were also fast with their responses, getting back to me with an offer within a week of the interview.
- Could you walk me through your resume?
Intern
I applied online and heard back within a week. Then I had two 30-minute interviews, one after the other, with a Manager and a Senior Manager. They were both really nice and easy to chat with. We mostly talked about my resume and they asked me some behavioral questions. About three weeks later, I got a call in the morning saying I got the internship, and then I got the offer letter that same evening.
- Can you describe how you prioritize your tasks?
Audit Associate
The interview process was good. It consisted of two 30-minute back-to-back interviews with two partners. The first interview was casual, but the second one is when the questions came out. The interviewers were nice, asked basic behavioral questions, and also made some conversation.
- Tell me about a time you had to solve a difficult problem.
