So, first I had a chat with the recruiter over the phone. After that, I talked to the hiring manager. Then, I had a panel interview with some of the team members. They offered me the job, and I took it.

I went through 4 interviews in total. First, I spoke with HR, then the hiring manager, followed by a conversation with two team members who would be my direct reports. After that, I had another discussion with two other individuals from the team. HR then scheduled another check-in for me with the hiring manager and another Senior Director to provide more details about the role. Around this time, HR also requested my job references. Everything seemed to be moving quickly and positively, as they were eager to hire someone soon. However, after my last talk with the hiring manager, I was completely ignored. I tried reaching out to HR twice without any response. It was really disappointing because it felt like they were on the verge of making an offer and just wanted to ensure I had no remaining questions. While I understand that circumstances can change rapidly, it's quite unprofessional to not even reply after I'd gone through so many interview stages. Even an automated message from HR stating they were no longer considering me would have been better than complete silence. It's a shame because I really wanted the job and felt I would have been a great fit, but ultimately, it's best not to work for a company that behaves this way.

Behavioral Presentation

The hiring process was really slow, taking over three months. A recruiter initially contacted me, but then she left, and I was transferred to another person. There were also many issues with scheduling and holidays during this period. I was given an assignment where I had to outline my client management process. After spending several hours on this, both on the assignment itself and presenting it, and also taking time off from my current job for interviews, I was completely ghosted by the company, making it a total waste of my time. I followed up multiple times, but received no response.

Here's a breakdown of the interview process for the Positive Parenting Facilitator role with the Lazos Program at the Municipality of Peñaflor. The interview itself is Stage III, but it's preceded by two other key phases. First, in Stage I, they do a Curriculum Analysis, reviewing your education, work history, and any extra training to make sure you meet the basic requirements and score high enough. Then, in Stage II, it's a Technical Evaluation, which could be in person or over the phone, where they test your knowledge on things like the Triple P model, working with kids and teens, community work, and behavior strategies. They'll coordinate this directly with you if you make it through. Finally, Stage III is the actual Interview with the Provider Organization, managed by the Municipality of Peñaflor. This is a professional and technical interview where they want to see how well you know and can use intervention models with families, understand Positive Parenting (Triple P), work in a team, be flexible with hours, and are motivated for the job. They also look at how well your profile fits with the team's culture and the program's goals. After all this, they pick the person who best fits the role based on everything.
