The hiring process was really slow, taking over three months. A recruiter initially contacted me, but then she left, and I was transferred to another person. There were also many issues with scheduling and holidays during this period. I was given an assignment where I had to outline my client management process. After spending several hours on this, both on the assignment itself and presenting it, and also taking time off from my current job for interviews, I was completely ghosted by the company, making it a total waste of my time. I followed up multiple times, but received no response.

I applied in early January and got contacted by HR for a role discussion. Then, I had an interview with the Director at the end of January. After that, HR told me I'd have another interview with the team, which happened in February. HR initially said there would only be two interviews, but then they told me there would be two more, making it four total. I got to the third interview with the Senior Director in February, and it went well. She even thought I might fit a more senior role they were creating. The fourth interview was with the VP at the end of February. I thought I was almost done, but I had to keep following up with HR for updates. Finally, HR asked for references, which I gave. I didn't get confirmation and had to email them a week later. HR finally replied, saying the hiring manager was on vacation and hadn't communicated this. It's now the end of March, and I still haven't heard anything about the position's status. I reached out to HR for an update or to see if the role was filled, given the long delay and lack of communication. HR called me, apologized for misrepresenting the role, and said they went with another candidate. They suggested I keep an eye out for future jobs and mentioned I might be overqualified. Despite being a finalist after four interviews and reference checks, I didn't even get feedback from anyone I interviewed with, nor did I hear about the other opportunity the Senior Director mentioned. After three months and four rounds, HR just told me to keep applying. I didn't even get an email from the staff I interviewed with.

I went through 3 rounds of interviews. First, a recruiter called me for an hour. Then, I had a video call with a Senior Director for an hour. Finally, I had a one-hour video call with two team members. After each interview, I sent thank you emails, but they weren't acknowledged. After the third interview, I didn't hear back for two weeks, so I followed up with the recruiter, but still no response. Super unprofessional!
