First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Caliber Collision.
Project Manager
Got a text from HR to set up a call. After that, I had an hour-long Teams meeting with the hiring manager, followed by another hour-long meeting with a team member and the hiring manager. The next step was supposed to be in-person interviews, but I didn't get that far. HR was super responsive and kept me in the loop about what was happening.
- Were there any screening questions asked during the initial call?
- How would you describe the overall structure and formality of the interview process beyond the initial screening?
Office Coordinator
I applied online and then got a phone call to interview that same week. The interview was with 2 people and had standard interview questions. The week after, the manager called me to tell me I didn't get the job. I appreciate that the interview and time to hear back was quick. I'm glad they gave me a definitive response even though I didn't get the job. They were very professional throughout the process.
- Considering the many different responsibilities in this role, how adept are you at managing and prioritizing tasks?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Manager set up a phone screen. When she called, it seemed like she was walking to her car, and we only spoke for about 3-4 minutes before scheduling a video call. The video call was also short, with minimal questions, just a 'put a name to a face' meeting. The feedback was positive, and I was then scheduled with the Director of TA. They canceled the first meeting but the rescheduled one went really well, with positive feedback so strong that they discussed 'when' I would start, not 'if.' However, I later received an email with some grammatical errors from the TA Manager stating they chose another candidate. It was surprising, and I suspect it might have been a quota interview rather than a genuine one. Reflecting on it, they didn't delve into my past roles or potential contributions; it was more of a general 'you have a great background' chat. Thankfully, I've found another good opportunity. Just a heads-up, the process might feel superficial.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Financial Analyst
So first there was like a recruiter call that was super introductory, then a zoom call for the first stage. They gave more info about the business and asked some questions about financial and technical skills like excel and power bi. After that, I had an onsite interview where they went into more detail about the business and asked about my experience. Then they gave me an offer over the phone a day or two later. It was a great interview process overall.
- What are your proficiencies with Excel and Power BI?
- Can you elaborate on your past experiences?
