Associate Consultant
So, first I had a recruiter call, then a technical screen, and finally an onsite interview. The onsite involved two behavioral interviews, which were pretty standard asking about my work history, strengths, and why I was interested in the company/role. Then there was a case interview. The case was more qualitative and seemed related to what the company actually does.
- Can you describe your research experience?
- Tell me about your work history.
- What are your strengths?
Product Manager
It was a pretty straightforward interview process with 2 rounds. I had a good experience meeting the team. The role was temporary, covering for maternity leave. Unfortunately, the company ghosted me even though they promised to provide feedback after I followed up a few times. I wouldn't recommend this company; ghosting is unprofessional and shows I dodged a bullet.
- Can you share your past experiences?
- What do you know about this industry?
Director
This whole thing was a pretty bad experience. There were 5 stages, and I talked to a bunch of different people. I thought for sure I was going to get an offer after the 5th interview, but then... nothing. I never heard back, even after following up twice over the next couple of weeks. It's not even about not getting the job, it's about the time I put in, over 5 hours, plus all the email stuff. You'd think a company would at least have the courtesy to let you know where things stand, especially for a Director-level role. Honestly, everyone I spoke with seemed super stressed out and kept complaining about their own job problems, which just felt unprofessional and kind of a turn-off. I'd seriously advise them to start letting candidates know the outcome, no matter what, particularly for senior positions. It left a really bad impression, and I definitely won't be applying there again or telling anyone else to.

Associate Consultant
I was first reached out by a recruiter and sent my CV. Then, a first stage interview was scheduled where I met two friendly and professional consultants. They asked about my past experiences and their relevance to the role, then we discussed brands and customer understanding. They also asked about my workplace behavior, strengths, and weaknesses. The next day, they scheduled a second stage interview. This involved a presentation on a task related to the associate consultant role at C-Space. They provided feedback from the first interview, highlighting a need to show more passion for the job itself, not just the company. I prepared the task and presentation thoroughly. In the second interview, I met two different, equally friendly and professional people. They asked more technical questions about research and consulting, checking if I'd incorporated the feedback. I then gave my presentation in a relaxed atmosphere and answered questions about it, my thought process, and potential flaws in the work. There was also a language test involving translating a work sample to assess my language proficiency for the bilingual role. The day after, I had a 'meet the team' interview, a casual meeting with employees, some of whom had interviewed me before. We talked about work and got to know each other. This seemed to gauge how well I'd fit with the team in a less formal setting. They hinted at an offer at the end of the meeting, and I received one the following day. Overall, it was a quick, professional, and positive interview process. Meeting around 7 employees gave me a good sense of the work culture beyond their website. I appreciated that the process focused on my skills and abilities and that they were clear about expectations.
- What is your motivation for seeking this position?
- Could you share any experience you have with research?
