First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brooks Brothers.
Sales Associate
The interview was pretty straightforward and the people were nice. They asked about my past work and stuff. They also wanted to know my schedule and if I could work weekends.
- Can you tell me about a time you delivered great customer service?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was pretty straightforward and the interviewer was really nice and accommodating. It started with a quick phone interview and then moved to an in-person meeting. Honestly, it was one of the easiest interviews I've been through, and they shared a good amount of information about the company and the position.
- What was the reason you left your previous job?
Supervisor
I applied in-store and was told to also apply online. The first interview was with the Store Manager, and I was then directed to a computer in the back room. This part took about 30 minutes and mostly involved questions about customer interactions, training others, and client management. The second interview was a phone call with the District Manager that lasted 30-40 minutes. This interview was very specific, focusing on my previous managerial experience.
- Can you share an instance where you modified your store's operations to improve the customer experience?
Project Coordinator
Applied online and got a call within a week for a phone interview. The next week, I had an in-person meeting with the hiring manager. It was casual, quick, and direct. I followed up with HR twice about updates but got no response. I figured they weren't moving forward, but wanted confirmation. When I asked for confirmation, they replied they were still doing first-round interviews, about 4-5 weeks after my interview. I still haven't heard back from HR. HR should really finalize interview processes professionally, whether it's a yes or no. Don't just contact candidates when it's convenient for you. People invest time and effort; at least let them know so they aren't left waiting.
