Mechanical Designer
First I had a phone screen with HR and the hiring manager where they asked me some basic questions. Then I had a second interview in person, which involved more technical questions, a tour of the plant, and meeting the team. They sent the offer a month later. They also required me to do some unpaid training and prep work before I could accept the offer.
- What is your biggest weakness?

A typical interview starts with a quick welcome and introductions. Then, the employer usually asks about your professional history, skills, and motivation. After that, the company introduces itself and the position in more detail. This is followed by in-depth questions about your technical knowledge or past projects. They also often check if you'd be a good fit for the team. At the end, you can ask your own questions. Finally, they'll discuss the next steps, like when you can expect feedback or what happens next.
- This question aims to check your motivation and interest in the company. If you'd like, I can also help you formulate a suitable answer.
