First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bosch Rexroth.
Intern
I was looking for a voluntary internship, and the process was very smooth. I got the interview invitation after about a week. During the interview, after introductions to the company and my future mentor, we talked about my responsibilities and previous experience. The interview lasted around 30 minutes.
- Could you tell me about your past project experience using Python?
Intern
Upon entering the building, I was confused because the signage to the reception area was poor. The reception staff wasn't very friendly either. When I finally met my interviewers, they seemed unprepared. The questions were very typical for an interview, mainly about my resume. I had applied 6 months in advance, but then they asked if I could start in 2 months, which surprised me. This is something that should have been clarified on the phone beforehand. I was told they are actually looking for someone immediately, even though I clearly stated my start date in my application. As a result, I wasted a day off.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What do you dislike?
- What kind of tasks do you not enjoy doing?
Intern
It was a technical aptitude test first. Then there was a face-to-face interview. The technical part was different for CS and ECE. They asked 5 general knowledge questions. They also consider academic performance. The face-to-face interview was straightforward. They asked basics like capacitor filters.
- Do you have any general knowledge questions?
- Can you explain capacitor filters?
