First, I had a chat with HR about what I expect to get paid and the general plan for interviews. Then, the hiring manager gave me a technical interview focusing on my resume. Lastly, I met with the VP of Engineering to see if I'd fit the team, asking behavioral questions and checking my general technical knowledge.

I submitted my application online in early July. Around August 9th, I got a call to schedule an in-person interview for the 12th. I was told it'd be 2-3 weeks before hearing about a potential second round. Weeks 4, 5, 6, and 7 passed with no word. I called and emailed weekly for an update. Finally, in week 8, I reached the person who scheduled the interview. Unfortunately, I found out the position had just been filled that same day. I wish they'd sent a simple email saying they went with another candidate, so I could have pursued other options. It leaves a bit of a bad taste, but as a recent grad, I wouldn't rule out applying again.
