First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bestseller.
Logistics Specialist
I went through three rounds of interviews. First, there was an impersonal, pre-recorded video interview where I had to answer set questions on camera. Then, I had a face-to-face interview with HR. Finally, I completed a case study interview with the hiring manager. The process seemed positive at first, and everyone was friendly and professional. However, the final stage changed things. They repeatedly delayed the decision even though they gave clear timelines. I was told I'd get feedback in one day, but it took four. When they finally contacted me, the rejection was very brief and impersonal. So, while it started well, the lack of timely and considerate communication at the end wasn't professional.
- Could you present your findings on the automated warehouse case study?
Sales Manager
It was a very interactive process, requiring data and market intelligence. They were looking for a logical approach, with a case study included. We discussed career milestones in detail, my approach to future plans, and long-term vision. They also assessed my ability to handle pressure, my ethical approach, my detailed point of view on the business plan, and my integrity.
- What are your career aspirations for the next three years?
HR Business Partner
I went in for an in-person interview and got good vibes during the chat. But, like, just two hours after the interview wrapped up, they told me I didn't get the job. It was weird because usually, companies take a few days to decide. I asked for the feedback in writing, which I guess is kinda uncommon since a lot of places won't do that. The reason they gave for rejecting me was something I supposedly said in the interview, but it was totally misunderstood. The hiring manager said I was out because of this comment, but what she said I said wasn't actually accurate.
- What aspect of your HR Business Partner role do you find least enjoyable?
Frontend Developer
I had a funny interview process with this company that seems to not know what it's looking for. Their job ad has been up forever, and it's like no one actually works there. The first step is a recruiter chat, and then after 10 days, they invite you to a second interview. It's unclear if they need support staff, someone to run their online store, a developer, or a customer training manager. After that, there are online and psych tests, which were so draining I ended up taking a job elsewhere. The vibe was super tense and toxic, and the people felt like robots.
