Sales Assistant
Sent my cv and cover letter to a recruiter at Jack and Jones, about 3 weeks later got an email to come to an assessment night at the main store. It included choosing 3 outfits; a 18 yr old going on a cinema date, 25 yr old on a work night out and a 37 yr old going to a wedding/reception. Then there was a 1 to 1 interview with a manager and regional manager. Phone call 3 days later to come into a second interview with the regional manager and the managing director. Phone call later that day to say I'd got the job!
- What's your understanding of our company?
- Could you tell us something about yourself?
- How do you feel about achieving sales targets?
Sales Assistant
I applied for the job online, and about a week later, I was called in for an interview with a panel of 3 people. They told me I'd hear back within a week about an offer. The next day, I got the job offer and started almost right away because it was for a new store opening.
- Can you tell me what you know about the Jack and Jones brand?
- Are you a team player? How well do you work in a team?
- What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses?
Sales Assistant
Had a quick chat and some general sales interview questions. Some folks were asked to pick out outfits for specific customers, like an 18-year-old heading to the movies. Make sure you research the company before you go. No need to overdress, smart casual is good.
- Can you tell me what you know about our company?
- Could you select an outfit for a specific customer scenario, such as an 18-year-old going to the cinema?
