First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bell.
Change Manager
The interview process involved a technical stage, followed by a management-focused round that included difficult technical questions. They also asked about my language skills, specifically my ability to attend meetings in French. Additionally, they were very open about the location and the realities of working in Halifax.
- How would you approach replacing a Cisco switch 6500?
- What's your experience with management and handling tough technical problems?
- Tell us about your language proficiency and if you can join meetings held in French.
Software Development Engineer
Expect five questions with very strict time limits. Prepare concise, structured answers (Situation, Task, Action, Result). Keep examples relevant to embedded software and debugging. Test camera, microphone, and screen sharing beforehand. Have your resume and notes open, and finish with two quick questions confidently.

Marketing Manager
It was a standard interview process. First, I had an individual interview, then a panel interview, and finally received an offer. The interviews focused on typical markets in Canada within the Telco/Application space, emphasizing a solutions-oriented approach rather than a commodity focus. The interviewers were punctual and friendly, and I had no issues.
- Can you walk me through how you brainstorm and implement marketing campaigns?
Software Development Intern
So first there was a video interview, it was like 3 behavioural questions and I had about 2 minutes for each. After that, I had a group interview where we broke out into rooms. I met with an HR manager and we did a 15-minute behavioural interview. Some questions asked were like "How do you go about developing software".
- Tell me about your experience developing software.
- What is your approach to software development?
