The recruiter I talked to was super nice on the phone, but their emails were kinda cold. I ended up talking to a team lead and then the director. Both of them were really cool and easy to chat with. They kept me in the loop about what was happening next, which was great. Oh, and there was a take-home project between talking to the team lead and the director. The worst part was getting the rejection email from a no-reply address. I was hoping the recruiter would just tell me, you know? It felt really impersonal and frankly, a bit insulting. It would have been nice to get some feedback too.
I had a call with a recruiter and also a marketing exec. Both calls were positive and I enjoyed my time speaking with them. However, I was ghosted even after being told I would be receiving another interview, which has left a bad taste in my mouth for the overall company.
So I went through 4 interview rounds for this role. After each round, they told me I was doing great and they were excited about me. One of the rounds involved a 30 minute presentation and role play. The SVP of revenue told me I'd hear back in 2-3 days, but it's been a week and no response to my follow-up emails. It's frustrating, especially since others have mentioned similar ghosting experiences.
