It was 4-5 rounds total, with two phone screenings, then a mock strategy renewal presentation, and finally a 2 hour onsite interview. You got to meet new people each round.
My interview process involved a phone screen, followed by a video conference. The final stage was a 2-hour in-person interview where I met with a senior team member, the manager, a social media strategist, and the CEO. Before this in-person meeting, I was given a case study assignment to present. They told me to bring my laptop for the interview, and the assignment was quite challenging. I was surprised when I got there, as there were no projectors or presentation materials available, and I had to present using my own laptop, which felt pretty awkward.
The hiring process is supposed to take 3-4 weeks, but it actually takes around 7-9 weeks. They mention there's been turnover and retention issues, and after going through it, I can see why. They'll go quiet after the presentation. Don't bother preparing a QBR for them; they're looking for free advice on improvements. The CEO was driving during my final presentation, which showed a lack of engagement and respect for my time and the work I put in. You'll have to constantly follow up for status updates, even when you're moving to the next stage, and their estimated follow-up times are never accurate.
