Had a quick 15-minute chat with HR first, then a 30-minute interview with one Product Designer and the Director of Design.
I had four interview rounds. It felt like a lot, but it was okay. After that, they had me log in to play a puzzle game designed for young children. The hiring manager then emphasized the game's importance, which was a bit off-putting. I would have preferred they focused more on my previous work and relevant skills.
They were hiring for a new office in San Francisco (they are based out of San Diego) and I talked to the head of the division. The interview was labeled a Product and Culture interview.
