Candidate-reported interview process

I had a phone call with the hiring HR. It was all straightforward questions. Found out soon I wasn't a good fit because I lacked experience with a required system.

Had an HR Screen which was a quick 5-10 minute phone call. The person interviewing me seemed confused about the role and who I was, making it tough to steer the conversation and ask about the job I was actually interested in.

I was contacted by a recruiter. Then I spoke with the hiring manager, followed by a technical interview with a Lead Engineer. After completing all these steps, I found out the role was filled by someone internally.
