Great and transparent process - 4 interviews incl. recruiter and you have the feeling you are talking to friends - Interview based on a human perspective and discussion about experiences and what to expect at Aiven - Customer oriented - Presentation at the end of the interview process in front of a panel
The recruiter was quite late for our initial discussion but was generally friendly. The interview went okay. I didn't get to speak with anyone from the UX or Research team. Instead, I had a conversation with a growth manager who seemed to have a limited understanding of what researchers actually do. The questions asked were not relevant to the role at all, suggesting a confusion about the positions they're hiring for and a lack of preparation. The interviewer was nice and decent, though.
The interview process was pretty smooth, no major delays or being left in the dark. HR was good at scheduling, and they even gave a shot to someone not familiar with their stack. I had to decline the offer later, mainly because their company vision seemed to be all about rapid growth and market expansion, with profitability not really on the radar. But overall, the process itself was handled well.
