Candidate-reported interview process

I had a recruiter screen, then an interview with the hiring manager. After that was a take-home Python application that used an Aiven service. It took a bit of time, but they were fair when reviewing it. The final round was a troubleshooting session on a Linux machine.

The interview process included a hiring manager interview and a home assignment. The home assignment involved building a web monitoring system using Python and Kafka, which took about two days to complete. Unfortunately, I only received a negative email response from Aiven and no specific feedback on the assignment.

The interview had three rounds. First was a technical skills round covering python, linux, and database concepts, with medium difficulty. Second, a programming assignment to build a system based on given specs. Third, an online debugging test where a problem was presented for troubleshooting.
