Academy Sports + Outdoors Interview Questions

It was simple and questions were related to how you would treat certain situations. The interviewer was nice and allowed me to go into depth on my answers and I felt comfortable.

I had phone interviews with a recruiter and a manager, followed by onsite face-to-face interviews. The interviewers were pretty friendly, and the interviews were as technical as expected. One weird thing was when I got onsite, they were supposed to do a temperature check but didn't. When I asked about how the pandemic affected the company, they said they worked remotely for 3 months (April-June). My last company is STILL remote, so it made me wonder about how they value people. Not the best sign.

Given the current global situation with COVID-19, many companies have had to adapt. Academy is one of those flexible employers.
