They brought me in for an onsite interview and mostly asked about the experience I had listed on my resume. The people at Abiomed were accommodating. It was a long interview.
So there was this recruiter call first, then like two more phone interviews after that, and then finally this in-person thing with six people. Honestly, it was one of the worst and longest interview processes I've ever dealt with.
The interview process started with a recruiter phone screen, and then quickly moved to in-person interviews with the hiring manager and team members. These in-person interviews were usually around 30-45 minutes long and were conversational. The interview also included a company overview and a tour of the facility.
