It started with a 30-minute HR interview, and then there was a mandatory take-home assignment. The assignment was to build a dockerized webapp within 4 hours, which felt a bit odd for a QA position. They mentioned the goal wasn't a perfect app but discussion material. However, they auto-rejected, stating that while I didn't build the app perfectly, they actually expected me to create tests for it, which is considered standard for this role. It seems like their day-to-day work might also involve unstated expectations where you're supposed to exceed them in a short, unpaid timeframe. I'd advise against applying here.

First there was a recruiter call, then I got a take-home coding challenge that was supposed to take 8-10 hours. Even though my code worked and met all the requirements, I was rejected with a generic response. I respect their decision and know I can improve, but I would have appreciated constructive feedback for the time I put in. I feel this is disrespectful of my time and effort, and it makes me question how they value their current employees. This kind of hiring practice needs to stop.

Behavioral Case Presentation

Applied on LinkedIn Easy Apply. Day 1, an HR manager from Ireland reached out and we set up a video call a few days later, which was great. Next, I spoke with a Solution Architect in Brazil and an Enterprise Account Executive in Uruguay, also very interesting. Finally, the third interview was with the CRO and Head of Sales and the Global New Business Sales Lead, both from Ireland. I had to present a business case during a 70-minute conversation. The entire process was completed in under 3 weeks. Everyone was amazing and charming.

First, had a quick video call with the recruiter to go over my experience and see if I fit the company culture. Then, a second video call with the hiring manager to dive deeper into my experience and make sure I was a good fit for the team. Finally, a video call where I had to present a task that the hiring manager gave me at the end of the second stage. This last call was with the head of CS, head of Sales, and Sales Manager. After that, they did reference checks.
