I applied for the job and a few hours later got scheduled for an in-person interview. The next day I went in and chatted with the hiring manager for about half an hour. The questions were pretty straightforward, though at first his body language made it seem like he wasn't really paying attention to our talk (he must have a lot on his plate, but it really threw me off). But as we kept talking, he seemed to get more into what I was saying, even complimenting my answers and saying I'd be a good fit. When we wrapped up, he walked me through the next steps, saying he'd talk to his bosses and have me come in again in a few days. I was pretty bummed out when the company never got back to me. It felt like he was just being extra nice so he didn't have to give me a direct rejection.

I had a skype interview for the Recruiting Consultant role, which was great since I was nervous. I really liked Jessica, my first contact at Zoom, and wanted the job immediately. Michael, the branch manager, interviewed me. He talked with me to figure out my skills for the job and how I'd answer some questions. My advice is to be ready to work hard.

I came in and was greeted by a very friendly person, which made the process feel welcoming and helped ease my nerves. About 10 minutes later, the manager came out and I went into a conference room with a fish tank table, which was really cool. We talked for about 20 minutes, and I asked some questions too. It went pretty smoothly. I also got to meet the CEO as I was leaving, which was a nice surprise.

I had a phone chat that went pretty well. Then, they had me come in for an in-person interview the very next day. The one-on-one was pretty straightforward; the interviewer looked through my resume and asked about my past experiences and how I approach things. It went really well, and I got a call later that same day with an offer.
